Hey Everyone!
A couple of weeks ago Stephen and I were at Wal-Mart and of course I found myself in the cosmetics section ... what's new? I came across some under eye pads that are supposed to depuff, cool & soothe and energize tired eyes. This summer has been pretty stressful with work and I was finding my eyes were looking tired. I had used them once before but last night I thought I would take a before and after picture to show you guys. I just have to say I love these things! I honestly can't remember how much they are and I couldn't find a link anywhere online to show you guys an idea of what I paid. I do remember thinking that it would get pretty expensive if used the way they say. On the box it suggests using them 2-3 times a week, I personally think once a week is plenty as they weren't super cheap and there is only 4 packages in the box. Last night Steph and I went to the movies and when we got home my eyes felt a little tired and they looked it too. I washed my face and put these on. The only thing I have to say about these is that they will slip off at first because they are pretty wet and slippery. This I like though because it forces you to sit back and relax for fifteen minutes. I think this is an advantage because I don't think I would enjoy it half as much if I wasn't just sitting on the couch with my head back and eyes closed.

Here is a picture of me taking them out of the package. The actual pad is in-between two plastic pieces to keep the shape. You have to be careful when taking them out because you can make them crease fairly easy.
Here's the before picture of my eye.
Here's a picture of the pad on my eye.
Here's the picture of my eye after taking the pad off.
I know it's hard to see the difference on here, but my eyes were less puffy and not as tired looking. They are super cooling, soothing and feel like you've just taken them out of the fridge. My under eyes felt really moisturized and it even softened the look of fine lines that we all have. I also found that my under eyes looked brighter, which is a huge bonus. After the 15 minutes the pads dry quite a bit and almost feel like one of those peel off masks when you take them off. If I can find them again I will definitely be repurchasing them.
I also just have to say the movie we went to see last night was Maze Runner and it was a great one! I didn't read the book but I really enjoyed the movie and so did Steph. I certainly can't wait for the next one. I hope that it is enjoyable for the people that read the book because I know how disappointing it is when the movie is crap compared to the book and almost wrecks it a bit for you.
Thanks for reading!
Jenna
