I haven't been on here lately and I do apologize, I've just been so busy with work lately that I haven't had the time or energy to be blogging. I also started filming videos for my YouTube channel regularly so I am slowly getting into the swing of things. It's just a matter of getting a balance with everything going on so I can provide you guys with accurate reviews/blogs and inform you of these products. So without further ado lets jump into this weeks review.
I recently ordered a few things from Sephora and of course you get to pick three samples you would like to try out. One of the samples I picked was the ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment by Glam Glow (pictured above). Of course I love the SuperMud Clearing Treatment so I was quite excited when I saw that I could try this stuff out for free! When I opened the package I noticed that the colour was this yellowish light brown colour with little specks of darker brown, almost like when you mash a banana. I also really liked the smell of the product, which to me smelled like a mix between banana and coconut. I applied the mask with my brush as usual so I could ensure I got all of the product out of the packet. The mask actually went on the skin clear and felt really cool. I really liked that as I had been out working in the heat all day, so it was nice to put on my cleansed skin after a relaxing hot shower. I also really liked the consistency, it wasn't thick and goopey but also wasn't super runny. I let it sit on my skin for approximately twenty minutes while I read my book. I then rinsed my face with some warm water and dabbed my face dry. My skin instantly felt hydrated and smooth. I put that mask on last night and still even tonight my skin feels the exact same as it did when I first took the mask off. Even when I put my foundation on this morning my skin seemed different and it just glided on better because my skin was so soft and silky. The only problem with Glam Glow that I have is that it is quite pricey, ThirstyMud is $69.00 on their website and $76.00 on sephora.com for a 1.7 oz jar. Which to me is a little steep for one product for my face. That being said I think I will just go ahead and purchase it as I haven't used anything that hydrates and makes my skin this envy worthy.
I hope you guys are having a great day/night and thanks for reading!
Here is a little picture to show you the colour and consistency of the mask.
As you can see here it goes on completely clear.
