Hey Everyone!
A little over a month ago Stephen and I went to go out for dinner, we stopped at Target to pick up a couple of things and when I looked at myself in the mirror I was horrified. My foundation had oxidized and looked orange orange orange ... Not cool. I made Stephen go into the store and pick up some makeup removing wipes for me because I was so embarrassed to walk in looking like .. well .. a clown with poorly done makeup. Hahaha. I removed all my foundation and felt way better, but didn't want to go out for dinner not looking polished.
We went to the makeup section and I decided on getting a BB or CC cream since I didn't really have time (or a decent mirror) to apply my foundation all over again. I found the Marcelle CC cream and really liked the packaging so I was automatically drawn to that one. I picked it up along with a couple of other things because I just couldn't resist getting some new makeup. When we got back into the car I began putting the CC cream on and instantly loved it! It blended really nicely even with just using my hands (as they were the only tools I had) and covered up pretty much any redness or blemishes I had! I was so impressed because it also didn't completely cover up my freckles which was nice because usually if something covers well then my freckles are pretty much no where to be found. Marcelle's CC Cream also has SPF 35 which is a huge bonus because I burn to a crisp in the summer. The two things it mentions on the front is: " Complete Correction" and "Reduces the Appearance of Dark Spots". Now I don't know about the dark spots because I don't have any yet; However, it certainly has complete correction and that is awesome. I also have quite dry skin and this didn't dry it out at all. Sometimes when I use new products I notice that around my nostrils will get little flakes of skin coming off because it makes my skin feel tight and dehydrated. Marcelle's CC Cream is certainly hydrating and has actually helped with the dryness since I've started using it. I pretty much only use this now when I go out to go grocery shopping or run errands as it makes my skin look healthy and evens out the tone (If it's a nice dinner or a night out with friends then of course I break out my foundation). I love this product so much that I mentioned it in my July Favourites video on my YouTube channel. Now keep in mind I have nothing to compare this to as I have never tried a CC cream before, but I must say if this is what they all do then I'm hooked!
Thanks for Reading,
Jenna
