Hey guys!
So in September's IPSY bag I received Mitchell and Peach's luxury hand cream. I have to say that IPSY is starting to disappoint me ... I first of all am not a big fan of getting hand cream in my bag because it's kinda something I will just purchase at the store when I need it. I feel like this was just a waste of space in my IPSY bag for that reason. It is perfect for travelling or throwing in your purse because of the size of the tube . I also like the packaging because it's simple and elegant. Other than that I'm not sure what else to say about it. I really hate the smell of this hand cream, if you like the smell of ylang ylang though it would be right up your alley. It's just not my cup of tea. When I put it on it's feels oily to me and doesn't sink into my skin very well, it just sits on the surface and slides around until I end up wiping it off purposely or onto something when cleaning, doing dishes, folding clothes, etc. (Thank goodness it doesn't stain!) Perhaps they used too many oils in the mixture as it does say on the back, "This nourishing hand cream is fragranced with essential oils from the mitchell estate." The texture isn't bad but I don't think I've ever used a hand cream with an awful texture .. yet. Sometimes when I put this on my skin it actually feels like its burning and it's not because my hands are so dry that they are cracking .. So I'm not really sure what that's about. I also noticed that around two hours after using this hand cream my hands actually felt MORE dry than before .. Not a good sign. Overall this product in my IPSY bag is a complete failure .. Hopefully as I try the other products included this month I'll find some better stuff to tell you guys about!
I will be posting all of my IPSY reviews this week so stay tuned for some more thoughts!
