Hey Everyone!

I promised to do a more thorough review of the products mentioned in my October Favourites Video so here we go.

When I went to Sephora for the second time I spoke with one of the women working there who asked if I needed a hand with anything. I was hesitant because the first time I went there I ended up buying the foundation that was suggested to me, but it turned out not to be a great fit as it dried out my skin way more then anything I had used in the past. This was a different lady though so I told her I was looking for a foundation that was a light - medium coverage that would work well with my skin type (dry). She got me to sit down on one of the stools and proceeded to use the Pantone Colour IQ on my skin. I asked her if it would work since the last lady had informed me that because I had freckles it would bring back a much darker shade then I actually needed. She told me no and that's why they take  pictures on different parts of your face, this way they can ensure it will match.  Sure enough it came back with the right shade and she suggested the Nars Sheer Glow which will give me the coverage to even out my skin tone but not hide my freckles.  She asked me what I use to apply it and I told her I prefer using a beauty blender and she proceeded to put the foundation all over my face after showing me that it matched to my neck. I absolutely loved it right away and headed to the check out.

The next day I went ahead and applied it to my face using my beauty blender and went off to work. It gives me the exact coverage I want and I can actually build this up very easily to a medium coverage without it going cakey. I have worn it pretty much every day since I purchased it and it has never oxidized on me and it always lasts for most of my work day without having to retouch it.  It gives a great dewy finish, which is something I love because I want to have that youthful glow look to my skin. I have also used it with my Sigma Kabuki brush and it always glides onto my skin smoothly and blends well without any problems.

Now there are a couple of small downfalls to this product. Firstly, I believe for the price that the pump should be included in the purchase. I thought that was quite annoying that it didn't come with a pump because it isn't a cheap foundation and you can't buy the pump at Sephora. So, in order to get it you have to buy it from somewhere else. You can purchase the pumps from narscosmetics.com for $6.00 or from shop.nordstrom.com for $7.15. One final thing I noticed is that sometimes this foundation breaks me out. I have found a few times that I've worn this I get pimples either on my chin or on my forehead, so if you have sensitive skin this may not work for you.

I purchased Nars Sheer Glow at the Sephora store in Barrie for $57.00 and I am in the shade Mont Blanc.

I hope you guys found this review helpful and if you have any questions or comments feel free to leave something below! If you haven't seen my October Favourites video go ahead and click this link!   http://youtu.be/YqYmDVBkiBU
